Domaine Houillon home to the couple Aurélien and Charlotte is based in Vaucluse, on the western foothills of Mont Ventoux in a small village of Faucon. Thanks to the height and influence of the majestic mountain next to it, the climate here is relatively cool for the Côtes-du-Rhône. Aurélien Houillon originally comes from Jura, where he worked seven years with the famed Pierre Overnoy and his brother Emmanuel Houillon in Pupillin, learning how to grow and vinify wine with minimalist methods. The Domaine now consists of 9-hectares vineyards farmed using biodynamic methods. 2017 was the first vintage for the Domaine, using methods he learned at Pierre Overnoy implementing no additives, no filtration, and retraction with the use of gravity.

The wines of Domaine Houillon have great balance of freshness and rigor to them, showcasing the scents that are characterized by the wild flora herbs, shrubs and garrigue characteristics that we get in the best wines of Rhone. We are honored to represent these rare gems, and have 2 offerings from their first vintage - 2017, and one from their 2018 vintage. Quantities are minuscule, so do not hesitate!
